I bought this for my cane prior to the snow season. It is doctor recommended for enhanced grip. This is frustrating to install, but it is worth it in the end. You need to be careful as to where in the cane you install it, you don't want to carve up your leg while waiting for it to heal! I haven't needed to use it yet, but its good to have.
